The greatest thing about being a nature expert in training is that you can ALWAYS learn more! Is there something you've always wanted to know about in nature but didn't know who to ask? Post your question here. Once a month, one of our experts will tackle a new question from those submitted by kids just like you.

Chameleons communicate through colours and body language. For example, a territorial chameleon will open its mouth and flatten its body in order to drive away a potential intruder (and usually they take on dark, very contrasty colours then as well). On the other hand, a female Veiled Chameleon (a common species in the pet world) develops blue spots when she is ready to accept a mate. At other times, the blue spots are not there at all.Got a question about your wild neighbours? Ask us!
