Get to Know Interactive CD

Designed for students and families, this interactive computer CD allows you to experience 24 "virtual hikes" in four of Canada's major cities (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto). Meet 123 different species of wild neighbours using this unprecedented collection of species profiles, videos, photos, sound clips, and fun facts. In addition to the virtual hikes and species multimedia, this CD includes lesson plans, lesson plan videos, bonus videos, a nature glossary, and bonus games and Robert Bateman wallpaper that can be unlocked as you complete more virtual hikes.

Technical Requirements:

• Windows XP or newer/ OSX 10.4 (OS X 10.5 and up not supported at this time)
• CD Drive
• 256MB RAM
• 60MB free hard drive space

The CD does not currently work properly for Apple users on the newest version of the Apple OSX operating system (Leopard). This resource was created before the release of this operating system, and we could not anticipate compatibility. Sorry for any inconvenience.
