Join us in Los Angeles at the Whole Children, Whole Planet Expo to congratulate the winners of the 2009 Get to Know Contest, which was held in the US in Fall 2009. Marine life artist Wyland, LA Councilmember Tom LaBonge, Regional Forester Randy Moore, and other partner representatives will congratulate the winners and present the prizes and certificates. The 2011 Get to Know Calendar, featuring the winning artwork and writing, will also be unveiled. CBS will provide TV coverage of the event.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2010, between 12:30 and 1:30 PM, but winners and their families are invited to come earlier and/or stay later to enjoy the other activities and presentations at the Expo, which runs from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
