Get to Know has a network of ambassadors spread across Canada, who are eager to share their expertise and enthusiasm for getting know know our wild neighbors.
Community ambassadors are local leaders with a passion for youth and nature. These ambassadors are available to help students, parents, teachers, and community organizations to learn more about the opportunities available through the Get to Know Program and other complementary efforts.
The new Get to Know Speakers Bureau is made up of outstanding biologists, naturalists and educators from across Canada who are eager to share their enthusiasm for "getting to know." The Speakers Bureau will help promote the 2009 Get to Know Contest and other initiatives, all with the goal of inspiring Canadians to become more knowledgeable and passionate about their neighbours of other species.
